A warm welcome to the SSAFA Suffolk Branch’s Gala Dinner and may I thank you for joining us tonight at the wonderful Seckford Hotel and Spa.
As the second oldest SSAFA branch in the country, our fundamental mission remains to relieve the need, suffering, and distress amongst our Regular and Reserve Armed Forces personnel, our veterans, and their families by supporting their independence and dignity.
Our team of valued volunteers are the lifeblood of SSAFA Suffolk and without their dedicated commitment, we would not be able to support those in Suffolk who are in need, especially during these challenging times.

Tonight, I would like to ask three things of you all, firstly and foremost enjoy your evening in good company, secondly, give generously so that we can continue to do what SSAFA does best and finally consider volunteering with us so that we can continue supporting our Armed Forces Family across Suffolk.
